Jade Enright is a Highly Sensitive mother to her Highly Sensitive son. She lives in Zambia with her husband and his family. After having her son, she soon realized that he was experiencing much stronger emotions than the other children around him. This inspired her to dig deeper. To learn about what was actually going on. She co-authored this book for the boys and girls who, like herself, are often labelled as “too”. “Too dramatic”, “too sensitive”, “too much.” This story aims to show children that although High Sensitivity does make us experience life differently to those around us, it’s a normal difference. And one that, although challenging at times, can become a true gift.
Melissa Schwartz was born an intense, sensitive, empathic, power seeker. She is an internationally acclaimed author, coach and public speaker bringing new perspective based on current research and personal experience to transform the field of child development. Amanda Ravensdale was born into a multicultural family and grew up in various different countries around the world. Unlike most children who looked forward to toys for Christmas, her favorite present when growing up was a block of A4 paper and a pack of sharp pencils! This love of drawing, coupled with the input from her artistic father, has led her to illustrate the Rico the Race car series, and other children’s books. She now resides in Zambia with her husband and two children, and when she is not homeschooling her kids or working on illustrations, she is often found having cups of tea with her wonderful Mum who lives next door!
